SCHOLARSHIPS

In one of the most ambitious partnerships undertaken by the Berea Arts Fest in recent years, 2004 saw the establishment of a fine arts scholarship funded by Frank J. D’Amico, D.D.S., and administered by the Arts Fest Board of Trustees. Dr. D’Amico, a Berea dentist at 633 W. Bagley Road, will offer the scholarship opportunity from 2005-2008 to a graduating senior from Berea High, Midpark High, Columbia Station or Olmsted Falls High who intends to pursue a degree in the fine arts. Each of the four scholarships will be renewable each year of the students’ college career, for a total of $4,000 per student.

2005’s recipient, Robert Boryk from Midpark High, attends Kent State University.  2006’s recipient, Emily Hammeren from Olmsted Falls, attends Denison University.  2007’s recipient, Chad Lenjer from Olmsted Falls, attends the Cleveland Institute of Art.  2008’s recipient, Chad Constanzo from Columbia Station will attend the Pittsburgh Institute of Art.
